Stage 1 ( Years 1 & 2 )
Students in Stage 1 are in Year 1 and Year 2. Teachers in these two years work hard to develop the skills necessary for reading, writing and maths while balancing these skills with PE, computers, art, music, science and HSIE. Building your child's resillience and ability to be socially and morally responsible for their behaviour is also very important in these years.
In Term 1 we will be working on the topic 'Celebrations' where students will be looking at popular celebration in both Australia and Bali. Children will participate in art. music and dance activities with visiting artists from Bali as well as learn some Balanese games and a few phrasees and greetings in Indonesian.
